What are the Threaded Rod Extension Nuts?
A coupling nut, also known as an extension nut, is a threaded fastener for joining two male threads, most commonly a threaded rod, but also pipes. The outside of the fastener is usually a hex so a wrench can hold it.
To lengthen the bolts, these nuts are coupled together. Make sure to use a wrench to hold the threaded fasteners in place. The main application of extension nuts is to increase the size of small bars.
