What is Sprue Bushing Type C?

The sprue bushing is made of hot work die steel and has the characteristics of heat resistance, wear resistance, and durability; in order to prevent the leakage of plastic material, the feed port is generally designed as an R-angle curved flow type transition.

The sprue bushing can also be described as a component that allows molten plastic material to be injected from the sprue bushing of the injection molding machine into the flow channel inside the mold.

The bolt-type sprue bushing type C is a sprue bushing fixed with 2 bolts. The bolt is fixed to prevent the sprue bushing from falling off due to injection molding pressure.

1. SKD61 hot work dies steel can produce high-end and very durable sprue bushing, and the hardness can reach 48~52HRC. The sprue bushing made with SKD61 has the characteristics of high-temperature resistance and durability, and the quality of the molded product is excellent.
2. SUJ2-bearing steel is a commonly used manufacturing material for middle-end sprue bushing. The heat treatment hardness is about HRC52.
3. S45C, the material used in the low-end mold, after the high temperature, spray anti-rust oil, and other anti-rust treatments to prevent rust.
